Dragon Disciple/Cleric Dual-Class Help

I'm trying to make my first mod which it to get this Dual-Class option to work. I've edited DUALCLAS.2da, ABDCSCRQ.2da and ABDCDSRQ.2da to make the option available as well as the stats required. The problem I'm having is that while I can select the Cleric as a dual-class option, after the level up screen the game still says I'm just a DD, I have access to level one priest spells but the screen is greyed out so I can't select them and lastly I stop gaining any XP. As this is my first mod I don't have any experience with this sort of thing could someone point out how I fix this problem? Thanks.

    You can't. It's hard coded. If you know what you're doing you can make cleric spells for the wizard spellbook but a true sorcerer/cleric is not possible. Tough luck.
