Best equipment for Rasaad.

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I'm not too far into my playthrough with a human paladin and I'm gonna pick Rasaad back up since I used him in the first game and SOD. What are the best items I should get for him? I have the belt of giant strength I'm going to give him right now.

    Personally, I think Rassad almost needs no additional equipment than what he comes with. Yes the gloves/gauntlets will be useful but he really doesn't need much else; I think the only extra thing I equipped him with during SoA were darts, the odd potion and perhaps a ring/cloak if I had anything extra and the gauntlets you get from his quest.

    Give him a means of boosting his strength and the rest doesn't matter. Monks can go naked and rely entirely on their class stats and maybe a potion or two to become killing machines. When I used Rasaad, he pretty much soloed or at least did the majority of the work in the SCS Guarded Compound, and this was still in Chapter 2-3.

    Rassad is one of my favorites NPCs so I'm glad to see others using him.
