Ascension Melissan immunities?

I wonder what immunities improved Melissan has...
I consider adding an archer (Imoen or Sarevok of all people) to my party, but I don't want him to be dead weight in the most important battle of all xD

I read a few times, that you could only hurt her with +6 weapons and damage spells. This would heavily restrict my weapon choices, especially since I am starting to get bored by all the 2handed weapons xD

Is she really immune to that much or is it just 'recommended' to take +6 weapons because they hit harder?

    You can hurt her with +5 weapons until Abazigal is dead, at which point she can also be hurt by +4 weapons. At least it should work like that but this battle can get extremely buggy sometimes.
