Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition: Crash on iPad Air 2

I downloaded the game, started a new game and created a new character,
But right when I try to move my character in game it crashes and I return back to the ios homescreen.
I restarted my tablet and also tried reinstalling the game. Same issue.
My ipad is running the latest version of ios 9.

Is this a known issue?
