invalid items in vanilla bgee

I've installed bgee (v2.3. from steam, no mods. Create a character, head to beregost and find invalid items in various merchants inventories. I use steam to delete local files, reinstall bgee with no mods, create a new character, head to beregost and the same items are listed as invalid.

I know invalid items are normally associated with a modded game and loading a save that was created with a different mod configuration, but any idea why I'd be getting them in a vanilla bgee install and creating a character with that vanilla install?

Go into the installation directory for your game and delete any files you find in the override folder.

That fixed it, I must have had a modded v1 bgee on here at some point. Thanks much.
