Edit my Thumbnail - working?

I can't seem to get that working, it says to click and drag but nothing happens. Perhaps its my work PC being restrictive.

Also where are thumbnails displayed?

    The thumbnail is part of your avatar, so you click on your picture on the left and drag with the mouse to draw a square on the picture. The part in the square will appear in the posts while the whole picture will appear only when consulting the profile. You can see that with my profile I edited the thumbnail ;)

    Ah ok thanks. I thought thats how it should work, must be my work network blocking some portion of the functionality. Thanks.
