How do i update Retail Version of BG:EE

Hello

I would like to know how i update a Hardcopy of the BG:EE/BG2:EE since they dont requiere a Steam Account? And also why is the BG: SOD not available on Amazon?

    by hard copy do you mean you actually have CDs/DVDs?

    It's okay, i bought it on steam, despite the fact i like physical Copys more :)
