Revamping BG!? So much awesome.

Please excuse me for being completely oblivious, but I'm super excited to hear about BG being reworked. I played through all the series from the beginning in BG1 and to this day Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 have been my favorite RPC games ever (although Ultima VII is a close contender).

Much to my surprise I stumbled on this little miracle!

The web page doesn't provide a whole lot of information regarding the details.

Is it BG2 that is being reworked? What scope of the entire series is going to be made available, BG1, BG2, expansions, ETC?

What technology is getting an update? Is it going to be the old game updated to work on modern systems, or is the game/engine getting any reworking/updating?
