[spoilers] Where is the last place you can switch party members?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I have just started chapter 11, so please be careful about spoilers.

My PC is now inside Dragonspear Castle, ready to corner Caelar who is supposedly inside a previously barred door.
Up to this point all playable characters were at the camp, but after defending it from the different enemy waves and eventually abandoning it, I cannot find the other playable characters.

Can anyone shed some light?

    I beleive the point of no return is when the coalition camp is attacked, so you are past that point.

    Technically,

    You can add a character to your party just before the final battle, and replace them after.
