Custom Portraits in Multiplayer

Sorry if this improvement has already been suggested. But I think we should be able to have custom portraits visible in multiplayer mode without having to physically give the other player a file to add to their portraits folder. There should be some way that, when the game sees that a character has a custom portrait, they download it to the other player's portrait file automatically. The size should be negligible and it will let people play the game with their own flavor of character and not just see giant question marks where portraits would be.
