Enhanced Edition Trilogy Mod

Has anyone been using this mod.. I've been using it on my first complete playthrough and feel like its the ultimate way to play.. anyone have thoughts on it. and if they find some pros or cons or weird bugs while using it? I just made it to the start of BG2 and I've never played vanilla EE at all. Am I doing myself a disservice?

Not per se a disservice, but I'd reckon it's always nicer to start with the vanilla games and then move on to modded games. Makes you appreciate the quality of the mod (especially such a huge undertaking as EET) more.

If you only use EET and no additionnal mods then you're pretty much going through vanilla content in a more cohesive manner.

If you find any bugs, please report them on the EET forums.

One of the biggest undertaking of EET is making BG1 areas available during BG2. EET doesn't add content to those areas so they are almost empty space once all plot related npcs are mentioned. If you just don't go back to BG1 areas during BG2 or BG2 areas during ToB you'll have just the same as vanilla.

Those areas will need to be repopulated by modders once EET is officially out.

I don't think you're doing yourself any disservice if you don't go back to previous areas. If you do, there are a number of possible abuse cases that you'll have to restrain yourself from doing if you want a vanilla experience.

Thanks to both of you.. I'm only playing with EET and some banter mods as well as Kivan in BG2. Don't know if those add any major game-play changes but I just wanted more immersion and interaction from my first play-through.
