Recommended mods and/or install order

in BGII:EE Mods
Can anyone recommend a series of mods and install order that they recommend for a series playthrough? I've played through the vanilla series several times, and want to try with mods. I plan on using ascension, SCS, and unfinished business, but am unsure which other mods work well/are recommended out of the big list at the beginning of these forums. Thanks!

Also, was the BG1 NPC banter pack ever ported to the enhanced edition?

    Yeah BG1 NPC works with the enhanced edition. Whatever mods you install for BG2, always install ascension first. I'm not sure about the others, but there is very helpful guide in this very mod section. I beleive its in the bg2 2.0 compatible mods thread. SHould be in the OP

    how i go is. a portrait pack, acenstion,quest mods, banter mods, npcs, then tweaks.
