Ranger and Paladin Caster Level

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I know Icewind Dale HOW expands the spell progression of Paladins and Rangers, but is caster level progression left unchanged? That is, does it still cap at 9?

    its start from the lvl when the paladin can cast spells. In bg it was lvl 9 so at lvl 31 in bg2 the panadin has 31-9=lvl 22 caster level.

    I thought caster level was more or less hardcoded. And does IWDEE us BG or BG2 caster level.

    try it with armor of faith spell. you can use it at lvl 6 and than at lvl 30. check the difference.

    @subtledoctor i dont have time to try it, but create a spell that add 1 ac/mr or smthing visible, and edit spellcasting table to get the evidence if its working in this way.
