What just happened to my UI?

I restarted BG:EE.. aaand I had the regular UI of 2.0 and onwards.. and when i restart the game, I am met with the old startup menu, SoD isn't even an option.. and I have the blue'ish tiled UI and the whole shazzam.. but my game is version 2.3.

    I don't understand the problem. The UI you're showing appears to be the same new UI which I've always had in 2.0+.

    Where do you own SoD? If you own it on Steam make sure the DLC is checked off as being installed.

    It is Steam, yes.. and it was checked as installed. I was playing fine with new UI, then restarted game due to suspecting a memory leak (poor performance) and when i restarted it, i had the old UI.

    Seems entirely bizarre to just happen like that.. i have a couple of mods installed, but it's mostly just TweakPack stuff.. Oh well, validating local files fixed it.
