I want to make a character like Link using 5e rules. Any suggestions of what alignment, race and class he should bè?

Alignment? Depends on what version of Link you're basing that character of yours. One could say every Zelda game's Link had somewhat different character quirks. True Neutral, tending towards Neutral Good, would probably the savest choice.
Class? A fighter with some levels in Alchemist who can build bombs, perhaps? Bit bardish affinity for using the Ocarina of Time? Who knows...
Like this one.
Sword and Shield? Check.
Armor? (Twilight Princess and Skyward sword he wears a chain shirt) Check.
Magical musical abilities? Check.
Can use martial weapons? (Bow, Warhammer, Longsword, Greatsword) Check.
Like I don't know what more you would need.
Edit:
Bonus, make your three bard instrument proficiencies be in the Ocarina, Harp, and a conducting wand (custom magic instrument that would use the wind to make music).

1) a generation of kids that deals with a material way out of their age standards
2) the games will die with our generation
None of these seems good to me. And that's why I love Nintendo: they don't need blood and tits to entertain an adult or a child.
I easily can play Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Pokemon, Zelda with my father, my friends, my kid, my wife and my little cousin.
I know this is an old thread but I am really interested in this character concept for Link, and have already started using it. The one problem I'm having is figuring out what spells to use. I'm straight up making him 20th Level, and gave him Gust, Light, Comprehend Languages, Cure Wounds, Heroism, Longstrider, Enhance Ability, Locate Object, Fireball, and Lightning Bolt, but can't figure out what else to give him.
