Neera's romance not starting?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I'm starting a new playthrough of SoD having just completed Neera's mini-romance in BGEE. I'm into Chapter 10 at this point, and after recruiting Neera, shooting down Safana, and completing Neera's potion quest, I have yet to have any additional dialog with Neera. Have I missed anything, or do I just need to wait a bit longer for her dialogs to trigger?

    the romace stuff seems to not fire until you go into the cavern later on in chapter 11.

    Welp, made it to the underground river in Chapter 10 and triggered the first romance-y dialog, so nothing's broken on my end. Didn't realize that romances in SoD were location- rather than timer-based; very good to know.

    A quick NI review indicates that I'd seen two prior romance dialogs already, and they were just subtle enough that they didn't seem like LTs.
