Help with Clua Console

Hi, quick question regarding clua console on bg2ee, when i set it up and open the console all my party seem to be hasted? It takes them only seconds to walk accross big areas. Is there anyway i can turn it off? Of it helps im playing on a surface pro 4. But it does it on my 6 year old laptop too. Have i set clua console up wrong?
