graceful way to edit weapprof.2da

What's the best way to mod an existing class/column in weapprof.2da? In particular, what would be most compatible with other mods?

Right now, I have row upon row of SET_2DA_ENTRY.

    Check what it's set to before writing over it if you want (not really needed). Other than that you should already be good to go IMO, you don't need much else.

    Also, you can deny the possibility of installing your mod over mods that modify the same thing in a different way (good luck making the list, I can help if you want anyway).

    Why would you care if your SET_2DA_ENTRY changes someone else's SET_2DA_ENTRY? Your mod is your mod, and you ought to deliver what you promise to deliver in readme.
