Constitution and resurection

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hello everyone!
Is it true that constitution affects to survival resurection? Or is it a myth?
Can someone confirm this, please?

    In the Baldur's Gate games nothing happens with your CON score when raising the dead. In regular second edition D&D the caster would permanently lose 1 point of CON every time they cast raise dead.

    That would be another myth created by the original BG1 manual.

    If a mage's familiar is killed the mage does lose a point of constitution though.
