Near Infinity- How do I change #abilities and #global effects on an item?

All I get so far is "error updating value"
Any help would be appreciated.

    These values are updated automatically whenever you add or remove an item ability or global effect structure. There should never be a need to edit them manually as it would only corrupt the resource.

    Thanks! This does make me feel stupid, but at least I got it now. I figured changing the number would add lines to put effects in, and never even noticed the "add"-button.
