    Mod in responses like that, and give the player the option to sacrifice the whole city by A: dragging their feet in finding the lantern, or B: leaving the elves to get slaughtered (and seeing results) by bee-lining for Irenicus once inside, and I will be happy.

    The lantern quest after the underdark.... even as a Chaotic Good charname, I was NEVER motivated to help those pansy elves. Sheesh, the ending to BG2 just downright sucked for me.
