What do I need to do to import my save file from SoD to BG2:EE on Mac OSX?

I'm guessing there's a really simple "gotcha" here, and I'm going to feel silly after I get this resolved. Hopefully, at least lol.
I've just finished playing through SoD on my Mac running El Capitan (10.11.6). I have Beambog versions of all 3 games (BG, SoD, and BG2), not through App Store or through Steam. I have BG2 that is currently up to date, but that I originally installed a really long time ago (before I installed SoD), but it IS up to date. I want to import my save to continue my game, but when I look in the import menu, the menu is empty, so BG2 doesn't seem to recognize where BG1 or SoD is, I'm guessing.

For those that have this problem in the future, you have to go to the original file location, ~/Library/Containers/com.beamdog.baldursgateIIenhancededition/Data/Documents, then paste an alias to the BG:EE folder there, not in ~/Documents.
