Hello. I have a friend who bought the game bg2ee on cd from a game store, with this cd the game installed with patch 1.3. Now I bought the game and wanted to play with him online but it didn't work cus I got patch 2.3.
Now it's really weird because neither me or my friend can't find any downloadable patch to get his game up to 2.3.

We did download the Beamdog client but the problem couldn't find the game in his computer.
Does he really have to buy the game again just because he can't get an update.
