Dual-wield weapon choices

Just wondering - for me and maybe others - what weapon combos are the best, as all the info is so clustered in here...

I usually go for Belm/Kundane or Crom Faeyr in the off-hand, but I realised that, while +apr is nice to have, 1 attack will be with my off-hand weapon anyway, which, with only +2 enchantment, will never hurt anything in TOB, pretty much making one of my attacks being wasted...
So wouldn't it make more sense (as far as dual wielding even makes sense at all) to use 2 damage-dealer-weapons like Crom and Foebane/Flail of Ages?

The extra apr from your offhand will apply to your mainhand. You can never have more than 1 apr applied to your offhand.

Personally, I prefer longswords and daggers.

Club of Detonation together with Blackblood is a nice combo for sheerly everyone imaginable. Although when rolling either Druids or Shamans, I am particularly fond of dual-wielding Mighty Oak hand in hand with the Gnasher. Bonded spirit of a wolverine? Yes, please.
