Playing SoD without internet connection.

I have been playing SoD for many hours (real time) and yesterday, I was required to sign in and have an internet connection for the game to start.

How do I bypass this and go back to the way I began playing?

    Try launching the game from the games launcher (and not from Steam / the deskop icon)

    Should be found here

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition

    Even if you launch it from Steam without an internet connection, it should have the option to start Steam without internet.

    Could always start steam in offline mode see how that goes.

    I don't have a steam directory in [program files (x86)].

    Sod is here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\BeamDog\BeamDog.Launcher.exe" /launch-game 806

    BG:EE here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\BGEE.exe"

    There does not seem to be an option for offline play for SoD. BG:EE runs fine without one.
