Question concerning Wisdom in Ad&D 2,5

Hi everybody,
Since my mind is jammed by 3,5 edition rules (where wisdom gives will save bonuses), does Wisdom gives saving throws bonuses of any sort in the 2,5 edition of AD&D ?
Like save vs wands, save vs death or save vs breath ?
I know that more wisdom give more spell boxes per level and knowledge, my main concern is about saving throws.
This would mean that a warrior would benefit of a great wisdom instead of a great intelligence, for instance.
Thanks for your answers

I hope something like this is addressed in a 'balancing' mod, where many PnP changes are made. Are there any mods for vanilla BG/BG2 that do this? If so, hopefully that developer will port those changes to BG:EE.
