Minsc (Spoilers Within)

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Playing evil but I tend to hoard NPCs. I like doing the evil part of the Dynaheir quest (killing the witch for Edwin) however, not sure how you can recruit Minsc if you do this.

Curious what happens if you pick up Edwin, pick up Minsc, stash Minsc somewhere (I did confirm that he stays put) do Edwin's quest, then pick up Minsc. Will he stay? What becomes of the quest "Rescuing Dynaheir" or does he vanish when you get back to him?

I know the workaround of saving Dynaheir and THEN getting Minsc... but eh.

    You can still recruit minsc after killing dynaheir for Edwin. He'll have some altered dialogue about failing his mission and seeking redemption or something. You may need a high reaction though.

    When I have had very bad reactions after dynaheir dies, Minsc goes buckwild and starts killing off townies if he rages. Giving him the BIG sword beforehand can really liven this up, hehheh. Sometimes, IIRC, he has done this when I was still at the gnoll stronghold.
    But usually he is recruitable as @Bigfish mentioned.
