WoTC has announced the beta of their new digital toolset: D&D Beyond

You can join the beta here.

"We have partnered with Curse to take D&D players beyond pen and paper, providing a rules compendium, character builder, digital character sheets, and more—all populated with official D&D content. "

    There's actually nothing much there right now. If you sign up for the beta, you just get put on a mailing list.

    Maybe this time they will succeed and their digital initiative will not be a failure!

    First phase of the beta has started. It's just the rules in website form right now, plus lists of monsters, items, spells, etc. You have to log in with a Twitch account to get to the lists.

    The second phase will be the character creator and character sheet.

    Edit: I should also mention that there's forums to talk about D&D, with subfora for each class.

    Interesting. I Hope It works and prevents D&D from becoming ''deader than disco''.
