Lich in circle maze just stands there, nearly dead

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I have the latest android version of the game and this lich gets to some really low amount of hp but doesn't actually die all the way. But the dialog along the lines of Hexxat saying the real lich isn't dead yet triggers. Endlessly. Is this a known bug? Is it fixed in the latest PC version?
