Editing an NPC You've Met, But Who Isn't in the Party

Is it possible to edit a character (ala EEKeeper) who you've met but who is not in the party? Would that have to be something in Near Infinity?

I believe you can edit NPC characters with a ee keeper who is not in your party I believe there's a tab up top of ee keeper that specifies edit out of party characters.

You can edit cre (creature file) of the npc, via eekeeper or dltcep. But only if you have not met the npc in the current game. If you enter the area with the npc, he/she spawns and is stored/kept as the same throughout that save game.

For example, if you edit imoen's cre file to make her a bard before leaving Candlekeep, she will spawn as a bard after Gorion's murder. You must find the correct Imoen cre file, though. Each npc has a few different cre files, corresponding different levels. Thus, if you leave Candlekeep at lvl 1, lvl 1 Imoen will spawn and if you have changed the lvl 1 Imoen cre file into a bard BEFORE leaving Candlekeep, she will spawn as a bard. If you forgot, and she spawns as lvl 1 thief, then disband her, changing cre file will accomplish nothing in the current game, the changes will take effect on the next game.

You can edit characters via editing save game file with eekeeper once an npc is in your party.
