Korlasz and exports?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
So...I'm guessing there is a 'flag' on the characters that are exported for future pickup when you are done with the Korlasz tomb...can anyone confirm? I'd like to set it up for Kagain for future playthroughs and then spawn him in the city later. It's a kick running through SoD with him - makes it worthwhile since Dorn's at Bridgefort.
