Boosting Voice Volume of Individual Character Sound Sets

For the Wizkids out there... seems like a simple question, but I can't figure it out. Hopefully this makes sense.

I have a soundset I'm using for my main character. Its slightly less volume than the other sound sets. I went into the actual files and "amplified" them using a sound editor, but to be honest, it only sounds softer in BG... and that file amplification didn't change anything.

Maybe a longshot - but anyway to increase the volume of a particular set of sounds in game or in an editor? Am I missing something by trying to edit the files? I have increased voice volume to max in settings...

On a side note Baeloth's voice also sounds louder than others... maybe because he's EE.
