Several Questions? Can Cheats still work in .Ini files?

I was wondering if the old cheats will still work in the .ini file setting? Still summon chickens to defend you and add gold? Along with that will the Team BG products still work such as the character editors and item editors? Just thought I would ask since I enjoyed the mods others made for the game in the original series.

    The external editors like Shadowkeeper, NI etc will need to be modified in order to work. The console commands should still work as before, as far as I know.
