Cannot select a certain set of memorized spells at character creation?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I'm making a new gnome Fighter/Mage and select: "Find Familiar, Friend, Sleep" but "Done" is grayed out. If I select anything Spook instead of Sleep then I can continue.

Can anyone confirm or explain what's going on?

    Gnomes are illusionist, so you need to have atleast one illusion-school spell
