[Spoilers] Why this game is damn great

in the age of maps with quest marks, lots of cutscenes and same old fetch quest it is damn surprising to find such an innovative game like this.

I start the game in a mortuary... I am met by a floating talking skull...

from here to there I talk with some random npc with general names... Suddenly that talking skull is learning a new ability called the litany of curses. I talk to some random "Harlot".... bang! new curses. ability upgraded.

I meet some random guy called Dak'kon he is from different plane. Through some item I learn the circles of Zerthimon and gain some nice spells along the way and in the process teach my new friend some new things about himself.

I walk through some alley and gets murdered by a huge mob of thugs... "DAMN!" I think to myself. then I wake up in the mortuary again... and it hits me... death have no meaning in this game. And that is ... superb! so many new revelations hits in that moment.

I become a mage after exploring the city... getting some nice aoe spells and going to that alley for payback... doing my Abracadabra moves I just annihilate all those thugs. Karma is a bitch indeed.

I walk around the town speaking to some suicidal guy in a bar, He wants to die but wouldn't suicide. I kill myself in front of him and then come back to life... He is so shocked that he decides to live a full complete life.

I meet some ghostly lady which happens to knew me in the past... I learn some things about past lives and I gain Raise dead ability.

that's just the tip of the iceberg.... This game so worth it can't believe I missed it all this time.
