Blocked for spam by trying to edit my own post...?

I made one post and then shortly thereafter went to edit it and I received the following error:

You have posted 1 times within 60 seconds. A spam block is now in effect on your account. You must wait at least 300 seconds before attempting to post again.


What?? :#

Ironically, my edit still goes through and I can also repeatedly edit even with this error popping up. But I had to wait 300 seconds to post this thread.

    Yeah, I had some trouble when trying to edit one of my threads as well. Seems like there's some technical problems with the forum software.
