Anyone else having trouble with cheats?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hello beamdog!

I created a profile to ask this question as I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and could hopefully help me fix it

I recently agreed to all of the upgrades since 2015 to now and I tried entering the CLUAConsole cheats but none seem to be working all that appears on the screen is a large black box with three buttons one of which reads "Godbow"

    CLUAConsole: can be shortened to just C:

    So it's now:

    C:CreateItem("xxxx")
    C:AddGold("999999")

    Etc, etc.
