Having issuses with custom portraits

So, my portraits shows normal on character record, but not on UI. Why?
It's new problem, I used custom portraits normally before yesterday..

    It's possible this is a result of your naming convention. Take a look at:

    It can't be. I now reloaded the game and successfully changed portrait back. I have only L portraits in my folder directory.

    It is fixed now. I was told dimension of the portraits in BG2 do not matter, but apparently they do. I copy the files, rename them and crop them and now everything works.

    It's unlikely it was the size. I suspect the problem was the name you had originally - the game struggles with certain issues with names, e.g. those starting with a capital letter.
