Advice for using codes to jump further into the game?

in Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition
So, not too long ago I started playing PT for the first time, and got about halfway through (Ravel's maze). Then PT:EE was announced, and I decided to wait for that to finish. I started playing PT:EE today, and found out about console commands. I want to use the codes to jump to Ravel's Maze, and to also restore my party, inventory and stats to how they were when I left off. What potential issues might I run into by doing this? Will the game break? Will back tracking to early areas of the game (like the mortuary) cause any issues?


If anybody can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

    It will break in some ways - ie sidequests later on not being triggered because of missed early quests. That said, I would recommend just rushing the game back to where you were.

    That's what I thought. I'm gonna start over from the beginning then. Thanks for the feedback!
