Is armor a little bugged?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I noticed wearing hide armor it's showing a minus to AC where it should be a penalty in the modifiers. It also shows a minus for items that give an AC bonus against certain damage. Is it a bug? Or just a little error in how it reads?

    The modifiers for hide armor are showing as pluses (i.e. bad) in my installation - which is as it should be. Could you do a screenshot to show more clearly what the problem is?

    Hmm, alright then. Probably some mod-induced error on my end. Nevermind. :|
