Dorn Weapon Proficiencies

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I've recruited Dorn and intend to carry on playing through SoD and BG2.

In order to make Dorn match up with later versions of himself in SoD and BG2, what proficiencies do I need to give him in BG1?

    Level 3: Xbow, 6: Xbow, 9: Bastard Sword.

    ... and if you delay Dorn's recruitment in BG2ee, then the game gives him 12: Bastard Sword as well.

    Level 12 is as far as the pre-configured versions of Dorn go - even if you leave him until ToB, he'll still be level 12 (although in the latter case, with extra XP for you to level him up manually and choose your own proficiency allocation).
