SoD character sprites in BG2 EE

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I just finished BG EE SoD and i noticed that the character sprites in the game look slightly sharper and brighter than the character sprites in BG2 EE. Are there any plans to update the character sprites in BG2 EE or is there a manual way to update those sprites myself?

    Sprites are supposed to be the same, that I know of. Are you playing with the same graphic options ticked in both games?
