Baeloth does not appear

in Troubleshooting
I go to where he should be with all the animals fighting and see text Baeloth Cast dimensional door when I get there nothing there but the animals. He was there on first play thru. Would really like to use him in 2nd play thru. Any fix to this? Playing current patched game.

    Is your main character level 5?
    I'm stupid, didn't notice this was SoD

    so I went back to an old bg one save and see that I have killed him in bg 1 is that the issue?

    Did you actually kill him in BG1? Because if so, then he'll stay dead.

    yes I did. So no way around this with out mods im guessing oh well.

    fixed it had to backtrack a bit but got him thanks for the help.

    I've killed Baeloth Barrityl in BGEE and in BG:SoD there was nor Baeloth Barrityl nor M’Khiin Grubdoubler but I think it should be that way if you kill 'the Entertainer' in BGEE :P

    This is a bug. Why does every other NPC from BG1 appear regardless of their status but Baeloth doesn't? I killed Edwin in Nashkel but he still appears, but now if I killed Baeloth in BG1 I am unable to play SoD to get M'Khiin unless I load a save from chapters ago and redo the entire game or start a blank SoD game.
