Mac weidu launcher "permission denied"

Hi, I just installed bg2ee and was trying to install the awesome soundsets mod using the mac weidu launcher but I keep getting "permission denied".
I had the weidu launcher and voice sets installed correctly last week (along with bg2 tweaks mod) but I did something wrong and corrupted everything which needed a fresh install. Since then I managed to install the bg2 tweaks mod on it's own but I can't get the mac weidu launcher to work now. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
