Having hard time

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Party - Minsc, Anomen, Nalia, Yoshimo, Jaheira
Me - Cleric/mage half-elf
Problem - I get hit constantly, yet Nalia is pushing me to De'Arnise
Want - Keldorn in my party, ditch Minsc, maybe ditch Anomen, possibly get Haer-Dalis instead of Nalia

    You get hit constantly? Cleric/Mages have tons of ways to avoid taking damage, but you also shouldn't be on the 'front lines', not with your party. Mirror Image, Stoneskin, Sanctuary, etc should keep you safe, plus you can use any shield you want without any penalties.

    You can boot Nalia and send her to the keep while you re-shuffle your group. Keldorn is super easy to get, just go clockwise around the sewers to avoid the two major fights down there. Haer-Dalis takes a bit more effort, of course.

    I'd imagine Keldorn, HD, Jaheira, Yoshimo, and a Cleric/Mage would work out pretty well, even without the 'op' late game Arcane spells.

    Anomen should be able to buff himself up for tanking without much hassle. As long as the rest of party can kill enemies at a reasonable pace, you should be fine. I've even had success using Jaheria as a tank.

    de'arnise is easy, go there.

    don't ditch anomen and don't change nalia for haer'dalis
