[Spoiler] Dorns quest

I have the quest for Dorn where you go into the valley to make the summoning circle. When I went down I got two summoning stones before entering the tree (search outside before going in). When I go into the tree Dorn says that some stones are missing. I have looked all around and I can only find two stones (one from water dryad and one from faerie dragon. I try talking to Vernus, but he doesn't respond. What am I missing to progress this quest?
