No kits in BG2EE v2.3.67.3

I downloaded a clean version of BG2EE on my new laptop, and there is no ability to choose class kits!

In the attached photo you'll see I have a list of classes [without the usual button look] that doesn't switch to the kit view when I've selected a class! [This was a human build, for example]

I've tried double-clicking, right clicking, etc. Tried 'verify integrity of game file', and also uninstalled and reinstalled; All to no avail.

Please help. I love this game.

Does it give you kit choices once you click Done?
