Whats New?

So now that I am getting re-pumped for the game, I was wondering what has been happening with the game the past two months. What sort of things were they able to do that couldn't get done before? For instance will we have BG1 sprites now? Will the Mac release still be delayed? Have anymore new features been added?

    They've removed the Fighter class as "imbalanced" and replaced it with a class that fights by throwing magical "spheres" containing summoned monsters at enemies.

    Basically just prepare to play the best version of Baldur's Gate you ever.

    Ive been prepared all summer lol. Fine I wont beat around the bush then. Will it be BG1 sprites or BG2? Im hoping that maybe in the extra time they were able to figure that problem out and get BG1 sprites to work.

    there was some issue with dual wielding

    As far as I know everything is bg2 resources in addition to new stuff they may have added, not sure about the sprites, at any rate don't quote me on it though.

    They're using the improved sprites and paper dolls from the 1pp project, I think, including BG1-style shields (hurrah!)
