Option to disable combat feedback (Damage:x)?

Is there an option to do this? It kind of bothers me to see constant damage feedback in the middle of the screen during combat, I prefer the combat log.
What about tooltip text size? I would like to make it smaller and it seems that text size setting in Graphics options has no effect on tooltip text size.
