Shifting level cap beyond lvl 50

After some consultation and game-files modifications, it seems that the ToB game itself is coded with level 50 cap. With the Legacy of Bhaal and double XP turned on, you can easily reach that in the Shadows of Amn, not to mention ToB than. Would it be possible to rise that to something about level 70 in some future patch? Just to shift the limit itself, I think modders can than modify the spelltables, saving throws, THAC0 and other tables to their likes, but for now it does not work as the game simply does not level beyond 50.
